On 21/ 10/ 14. I got a phone call from Jackson wells thinking oh he wants to hang out have a drink and the news he told me you may need to sit down for this he had my goose bumps and heart out of my body, harry has passed this after noon man can you please come to mater hospital say your final goodbyes?! Need you here All I could think is no way mate your joking just stop joking about that, soon to realise it was no joke at all, I could not bring myself to drive, I had my mother drive me into the hospital and myself jumping out the car rushing around heart pumping tears everywhere trying to find where harry and family, friends were Finally walking through those doors and seeing everyone shattered, breaking down and praying I could not handle anything, walking in there tears everywhere seeing you lay there just knowing it was true but still think it really aint, kissing you on the head goodbye I really didnt want to do to any of my mates like that, going back to Easts that night having a drink for you with close to more then a hundred people youve made friends with or people that youve touched and some family was deadset great, and followed with a bbq the next day sending respect to you how you would want us too. I am saying goodbye today to you but I will see you again soon I promise mate having a JD or a NEW, your family is so strong everyone will be there for them helping them for whatever they need you just fly high and smile down on us all the time we all love you Harry Hofman I will miss all the memories and footy together and forever will be with me in my heart ❤️ Also everyone show LOVE to EVERYONE around you kiss your mum and dad every time you leave to go somewhere tell them you love them!
