On 5 December 2014, the Commanding General Eurocorps, Lieutenant General Guy Buchsenschmidt, decorated three of his fellow generals of the command group with the Belgian Medal: Officer of the Order of the Crown. The Order of the Crown (French: Ordre de la Couronne) (Dutch: Kroonorde) is an order of the Kingdom of Belgium established on October 15, 1897 by King Leopold II. Currently, the Order may also be bestowed to foreign nationals and is frequently awarded to military and diplomatic personnel of other countries stationed in (or providing support to) Belgium. The Order of the Crown is awarded by royal decree. Lieutenant General Adamczak, Chief of Staff of Joint Force Command Brunssum, visiting Eurocorps had the opportunity to congratulate the awarded generals. More pics on bit.ly/1l8e0Dm
