On 8/7/14, I was struck by a reckless hit and run driver while riding my bicycle. I suffered a broken right scapula, a concussion and a fractured right ankle.As of today, the NYPD has not investigated my crash. Due to my injuries I missed weeks of work. While I have returned to work part-time, my duties are limited and I will miss more work in the coming weeks due to follow-up appointments with specialist doctors to assess and treat my injuries. At this point in time, I need financial help so that I can pay my rent and bills until I can return to work full-time.
