On 8 April 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted a briefing and a discussion on the U.S. public health system and health insurance for the delegation of medical doctors, professional nurses and healthcare personnel led by Dr. Chawin Sirinak, Deputy Director General of the Health Department of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), who visited Washington, D.C., as part of a training course under BMA public health and medical administration program.
