On Arnold Clavios plea for understanding: I would be a little more understanding if I knew his tenacity in getting the truth out when interviewing politicians and public servants when they are peddling BS and lying through their teeth. But having him gloss over the truth when faced with people he calls Sir and Maam he should not be given leeway when picking on somebody he perceives he can bully. To top it off, he makes it appear he was doing the public a favor which we know is not true. I am so disappointed with the quality of journalism in the Philippines. The questions that need to be asked are not. The ones that are irrelevant get the mileage. The quest to bring the truth is lost to sensationalism. People like Arnold Clavio and Noli De Castro have no business being in a newscast. They do not add value. They bring no intelligent insight. Watch De Castro on TV Patrol ask the field reporter questions and you will quickly see that he doesnt desire new information, he merely likes hearing himself speak.
