On August 3rd, the SLMR will make a return visit to Riviera Raceway in Norfolk. We would encourage everyone to come out and see some of the best short track racing around. But there is an even better reason to come out to the track on August 3rd, as this has also been designated at Team Jack night. Here are a few of the things we are trying to make happen that night. We would like as many people as possible to be decked out in Team Jack gear. We asked our drivers, and would encourage the SLMR drivers as well, to wear one of the Team Jack shirts. Shari will be there that night with camera in hand to take as many pictures of drivers and crews with their cars to send to the Team Jack facebook page. We are also asking the fans to do the same. At the end of the night, all of the fans who come in Team Jack gear will be invited down to the winners cirle for a group photograph with the winner of the SLMR feature. Depending on the number of people we might have to break in down into smaller groups and take a number of photographs. We will play this one by ear. The object here is to send a small photo album to the Team Jack facebook page. If you do not already own a shirt, all the gear can be purchased by going to teamjackfoundation.org. We encourage everyone to come out and support your favorit drivers and teams. More importantly, for at least this one night, we hope that everyone can come out and all be a part of one team, Team Jack. I will be passing on a little more information on this later this week.
