On BBC 1 tonight at 9pm is a program called Operation Wild, people may have missed it last week but tonights episode is going to be pretty special and definitely worth a watch. A few weeks ago James Whistler, Lisa Apted and I were lucky enough to South Africa, where we met some incredibly inspirational people who have dedicated their lives to saving some of the worlds most endangered species. I think they will agree with me when I say that the time we spent with Dr. William Fowlds was life changing. His determined efforts to save the Rhinos of the world is second to none, he has experienced, witnessing first hand, some of the most horrendous acts of human greed at the detriment to these wonderful animals, yet it never disheartens him, only pushes him further. It is people like this who are keeping our animals from extinction, yet they receive little thanks.
