On BBC TV now it states that Arsenal have informed Barcelona that they do NOT intend to take the option of bringing Cesc Fabregas back to Arsenal despite his apparent eagerness to return. When I spoke with Thierry Henry in Florida in February and asked why he did not return to Arsenal for a second time, he said that HE wanted to but that Arsenal did not want him. With Wenger having now signed a new 3 year contract, will that now bring 3 more years of a previous 9 ? If we dont buy quality players other teams will. We should have been celebrating The Double this season, and I dont want to hear about injuries. With a big, strong and a quality squad, those injuries could have been adequately covered. £100m to spend! Ill believe it when I see it. Cesc back would have put a buzz around the Club and showed a statement of intent. This rejection I fear shows yet again Wengers reluctance to buy big. 3 more years ! 😏
