On February 26, 2015, the team of the Friends cocktail bar together with the BACARDI company is holding a contest for barmen. The contest will be held in several stages: 1st STAGE Contest participants create their signature cocktails and its history (legend), complete the application form on our website: friends-bar.ru/cocktail-cup-en with a description of their cocktails’ formulation, attach a link to a video presentation and send the application form to our e-mail address: friendscocktailcup@gmail. Successful barmen are vivid personalities; this is why the main plot of a video should be directly related to the participants and show them as personalities. 2nd STAGE Final date for acceptance of applications - February 08. The contest organizers will select the best recipes and on February 12 will publish the shortlist of the participants who taking part in the Friends Cocktail Cup 2015. The contest organizers will pay transportation costs of the finalists. 3rd STAGE On February 26, the participants from the shortlist will present their cocktails to the professional judges and the guests. Presentation of a signature cocktail should be accompanied by the history/legend of the drink, which will be also evaluated by the judges. Only three participants of this stage will be chosen for the final. FINAL STAGE (TALK DRINK ROCK) Each of the three finalists will prepare a cocktail for a special guest of the Friends bar, using the components provided in advance by the organizers, talking with the guest and learning more about his or her taste preferences at the same time. As the result, each finalist will have to make a drink accompanied by its history or legend, based on his or her communication with the guest. The result will be estimated by professional judges according to the earlier announced criteria and by the guest for whom the cocktail will be prepared.
