On Friday, one of AFCs blog posts at Folklife Today was featured on MetaFilter, a community weblog at which members select their favorite sites from around the web. Ring Around the Rosie: Metafolklore, Rhyme and Reason was selected by the original poster and thirty other members as a favorite web page. If you havent read it, you can the original post at the link. Well add a link to the MetaFilter discussion in the first comment. Metafilter exists to select the best sites from around the web. The people who post there are held responsible through social norms of the MetaFilter Community for selecting high-quality sites; their reputations within the community are largely at stake when they post.
