On GMB they are asking people to pledge 10 mins of reading time with your child, mmmmmmmmm now let me think about that, shouldnt parents be reading with their children anyway? My daughter is 22 and she always had books around her as a child and a teenager and still reads lots now, both her parents worked full time but we still made time, no family around to take her for an hour whilst we shopped etc, she came everywhere with us, and yes i wouldnt have it anyother way, so if you have to pledge 10 mins of your day to read with your child, have a word with yourself, rant over.
