On January 28, a lecture being sponsored by the Centre for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies, the Jacyk Program for the Study of Ukraine, and the Hungarian Studies Program will feature a number of academics at the Munk Centre. One of these, Prof. Randall Hansen, has been known to deny the Holodomor, and downplay statistics as overinflated. Ukraine is currently fighting a war on many fronts: ground, propaganda, media and academic. It has become a fight for survival! Given the tenuous current political climate in Ukraine.
