On July 2, 2014 at 7:00 p.m., campsite availability for Lake Ouachita, first-come, first-serve campsites only: Stephens Park: 6 RV/Tent with electric Brady Mountain: 0 RV with electric/0 Tent without electric Crystal Springs: 0 RV with electric/0 Tent without electric Joplin: 0 RV with electric/0 Tent with electric/0 Tent without electric Tompkins Bend: 0 RV with electric/3 Tent without electric Denby Point: 5 RV with electric/5 Tent without electric Twin Creek: 6 RV/Tent without electric Little Fir: 1 RV/Tent with electric The overflow camping areas at Crystal Springs and Twin Creek are open, campers may set up camp in these areas, fires are allowed, but must be contained in once central location, generators are allowed, but may only be used from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, generators MUST be turned off at 10:00 pm each night. Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. Park Rangers and Park Attendants will register all overflow campers in case of the need to make emergency contact. All trash and debris must be picked up and properly disposed of before departing the area.
