On July 21st I went to the Emergency Room via Ambulance. I was admitted to the hospital with a diagnosis of Diverticulitis. This is how is worked out for me: 8 days in ICU, 2 days in PCU and 2 days on the 5th floor of Trident. During my stay I ended up septic which made me very sick. My blood pressure dropped to 44/20. This started the downfall. Breathing problems, increased heart rate and a change in heart rhythm which ultimately led to them having to shock my heart. Apparently later that same day I was rushed in to emergency surgery. I was amazed at how big the incision was. The incision went from my right pelvic area almost all the way to my sternum. It literally looks like a zipper. Now I am FINALLY home and on the mend. I just want to say thanks to all my family and friends for their support.
