On July 9th, police responded to an accident involving a bicyclist being struck by a passing vehicle near NW 12/Linn. The victim and witnesses are unclear on the color of the vehicle, but consistent KNOWN information is: 1997-2003 Ford F150/black or maroon/dark tint on windows/possibly chrome bumpers with chrome surround on mirrors/possibly tool box in bed of truck. The victim sustained a broken collar bone, 3 broken ribs, a punctured lung and extensive road rash. He is still in the hospital receiving medical treatment.
