On June 28th and 29th the Kingston Lawn Bowling Club hosted the Ontario Junior Provincial Champions for bowlers under the age of 18. There were 13 participants - 9 boys and 4 girls. Check out the photos and videos to see some great bowling from these young bowlers. The young bowlers participated in round robin play which continued throughout Saturday all day and Sunday morning. This was followed by the medal games. On the girls side, the Gold Medal was won by Kristen Burke of the Lindsay LBC. The silver medal went to Nicole LeBlanc of Uxbridge with Aislinn Wood from Midland winning the Bronze medal. The gold medal winner from the boys event went to Adam McKerihen who bowls out of the James Park LBC in Toronto. Silver medalist is Will Richardson from Cobourg LBC. Lucas Caldwell from Peterborough won the Bronze medal. All six of these young bowlers will proceed to the Canadian Championships being held in Etobicoke from August 4-11.
