On March 3rd 2014. We lost Bret Pilaar. The previous fund was for a wheel chair accessible van, but we never raised the money to purchase the vehicle. Now we are asking for donations to cover Brets funeral costs. We are about $2,400 away from giving Bret the proper funeral he deserves. We all deeply appreciate every donation, like, and share. When he was 5 he was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy [DMD]. DMD is an inherited genetic condition that affects two out of every 10,000 people. Bret had the biggest heart, and wanted nothing more but peace and love for the world, and everyone he met. He spent his time playing video games, talking to his friends and family, and watching his favorite tv shows. He inspired and touched the lives of everyone he met, those who knew Bret saw him as a kind hearted spirit that wanted the best for his loved ones and his friends. He was tremendously loved and is missed so much.
