On May 10th of this year Our local TV Station sponsored a Fund raiser for the United Way of Southeast Missouri! I am a disabled veteran but have participated in the 5KFVS RUN/WALK FOR UNITED WAY. No I dont run 5K but they have allowed me to walk a mile while everybody else does a 5 or 12K run. I walk behind my wheelchair until I cant walk anymore then I sit in it for a break then get back up and continue. The week prior I sit out front of my church and ask for pocket change to make a donation to United Way from the people of Jackson, MO. This is how I finished my walk this year!
