On May 17, 2014, Christis brother, Ricky Buchanan (a.k.a Slick Rick) was shot in an attempted robbery at his place of business. Ricky is a music personality in Memphis, most know him from The Stage Stop, a venue that has promoted many local musicians from the surrounding area, including Jackson. Rickys condition has been touch and go since that day and he is finally showing signs of improvement. His recovery will be long and he is without insurance and unable to work. We ask, as we have with so many others, that you help us help Ricky. We personally would appreciate your support and as always, we will accept all the prayers you can muster for Christis brother.
