On Monday, I said good bye to a person that made who I am today. I know I have physically lost her but her spirit will live on with me, my mom and kids and this was my grandmother who I called Mana. I cherish the hands that fed, cleaned me and took such good care of me. I thank God and feel soo blessed that he allowed us to keep her six months short from being a century old. She was a cancer surviver and never once said this disease was going to beat her 30 years ago. Her last battle with cancer was 91 and she beat it again. Now, I can only say she fought and fought but this disease never took her away from us. It was time for body to rest and God just took her away from natural causes which was her age and her body being tired . I know time cures all pain but when someone has a special place in your life age is just a number and not looked upon by your family members. I love you my sweet Manoula and may your body rest in heaven no more fighting just rest now and visit us when you want and can I love you!!!
