On Monday, May 12, 2014, an incident was reported by law enforcement that a Sheldon ISD student had reportedly been abducted in the vicinity of C. E. King Middle School. This incident did involve a Sheldon ISD student but did not occur on a Sheldon ISD campus. The incident is being investigated by Harris County Precinct 3 Constables, but there is no information available to Sheldon ISD to indicate a safety threat to our students as they are going to or from school.
