On Monday, September 22nd, the Consular Section of the Embassy of Canada had the pleasure of participating in the Friends of Canada’s Canada Night which focused on consular issues. The evening went very smoothly, thanks to the hostess Kathryn Lukey-Coutsocostas. The presentation was given by Brigitte Fournier (Counsellor and Consul), Areti Velissariou (Senior Consular Program Officer) and Angela Loisos (Passport Officer) focusing on various consular, passport and citizenship issues. The evening was attended by over 110 Friends of Canada’s members. A Q & A session followed the presentation which brought to light several common issues. Feedback was very positive and the evening ended on a strong note. Ambassador Peck and Julie Crôteau (Counsellor, Political, Economic & Public Affairs) also attended the event.
