On New Years Eve 1996, I came home at 7 in the morning on January 1, 1997, after a long night of partying. I was seeking for love and fulfillment in all the wrong places, and I came home empty and lonely. As I sank into a couch, planning to sleep there in the morning light, I had a life altering experience. I had a visit from both the devil and Jesus right there in my living room. I looked at the devil, and I realized that my contract with him hadnt given me an ounce of satisfaction. On the contrary, my self worth and self esteem was basically nonexistent, and nothing I had wanted out of life had come to me. Then a light shone from Jesus, and I knew He was drawing me to Him, to forsake my old empty life and begin to trust Him and get to know Him. I rejected the devil, and surrendered my life to Jesus. I began a whole new life that day, and I never looked back. What could look as your biggest defeat, can turn into your biggest blessing if you just allow the old contract in your life to expire, and make a fresh new covenant with God, Who will never leave you, nor forsake you, and Who will be there to guide you and give you answers all the way through! He is your Friend and Helper, He is the One Who will never reject you when you come to Him. Peace & Love, ~Sophia
