On New Years Eve, a gratifyingly healthy bird joined the BBR flock. He was surrendered by Angelina, his owner of 3 years who was leaving to start a new school in the US and could no longer spend time with him. Sweetheart had visited BBR a few times before and we noticed he was becoming mature and really needed to be with his own kind. He thanked Angelina with a hefty bite on their last day together, and he has also thanked one or two of us over the last couple of weeks. Male white-fronts are seriously confident birds. Hes wasted no time getting to know some of our rehab white-fronts and it wont be long before he finds his forever friend. Kudos to Angelina - Sweetheart is in fabulous condition: hes going to be quite a catch for that special lady.
