On November 5th, we will all wake up, God willing, (at this point, I say bring on the 2nd Coming), draw breath and set our plans for the day. Life will go on no matter the outcome of the vote. Why? Because we were created by a God who already knows the outcome and already has a great plan for each of our lives, locally and globally. My prayer is that while we wait for this election day, God will INCREASE our faith to love others even through differences, show patience through our frustrations, offer forgiveness when needed, and give us the peace that only He can give. I am so thankful to those who God has given a voice in speaking out and sharing information. I believe in being a well educated voter and I appreciate the time and effort it takes. But to be brutally honest, I am going to put my TRUST in the One that has ALL the answers, and will see us through no matter what! I understand debate is healthy, but my thought for believers, LESS DEBATE, MORE PRAYER! Not just for a yes or no vote, but for the wisdom and guidance needed for those who will have to make the hard decisions, for the communities who are at risk for division, for change and compassion for all people, for leadership and relationships in our families, schools and churches; for the children who will be affected; for our state leaders decisions, for arrogance to be stripped away, for pure hearts, minds and motivation to prevail. The list could go on and on! And I understand that both sides are very passionate for their causes....my prayer..... we could all be passionate for Christs cause.
