On October 28, 2013 the Hudson Special Education Parent Advisory Council did a follow up with the Hudson School Administration requesting an update on the SPED Staff (https://app.box/s/t70x6ie8qwzp8r8zpa0q). We had to once again file another complaint with the DESE (https://app.box/s/p0irge3kskbn818npmb0). Once again the Department of Education has failed our children by requesting the following from the district instead of doing an onsite investigation: The Districts report is due no later than December 20,2013. You are also required to send a copy of the Districts report to the person who registered this complaint. Copies of the supporting documentation should also be sent. At a minimum, please include copies of the following documents with your report: 1. The Districts Special Education administration must conduct a review of five IEPs at each level, (e.g, pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school) and submit a summary of the Districts review and findings to the Department.
