On Ramparts the 4th of July Children, hair like wisps of fire wildly licking the air, run against the Summer, barbecue pit, smokey as a cauldron conjuring dreams, American made, sparklers dazzle frazzled youth still new to the sensation of danger overwhelming. If only this scene on rolling hills, millennia behind them, going under, slowly and carrying a nod could inspire every distant hilll to give up its streaming. -ARM
