On Saturday, January 3, 2014, Chachalaca Ranch along with South Texas Be The Match will be hosting a drive in memory of Lily Marie Vasquez Lopez. My daughter Lilys mission was to try to let people know of the importance of becoming a bone marrow donor. Lily wanted to add more donors into the Be The Match registry for those children out there who are searching for a match. Adding additional donors will increase the pool of potential bone marrow donors which means children will have a better chance to find a match. During the South Texas Be The Match Drive, Lily Marie Vasquez Lopezs color guard teammates will be selling Chicken plates for $6. The plates will contain BBQ chicken, beans, rice, jalapenos and bread. All proceeds will be benefitting Lily Lopezs color guard team to help them reach their goal of competing for championships this year.
