On Saturday September 13th, Hunt House – home to The Sir Henry Royce Memorial Foundation will be opening it’s doors to people from the local area. The Trustee Directors are delighted to invite you to visit this historic Grade II listed building in the village Paulerspury, where you will be able to see first hand some of the amazing and unique artefacts and memorabilia from the life of Sir Henry Royce. These include: • Aero engines from both Merlin and Derwent planes. • A Rolls-Royce Phantom IV Landaulette that once belonged to Her Majesty the Queen. • Examples of Sir Henry’s electrical work, cutaway engines from many Rolls-Royce and Bentley models, and a complete collection of the “Autocar”. There will also be three Rolls-Royce cars on display for you to view which are kindly being provided by local enthusiasts, and you will be able to visit the Library and other exhibition areas. At 2.30pm and 3.45pm there will be guided tours of the premises by Philip Hall, former CEO of the Foundation and one of the most knowledgeable Rolls-Royce experts. We look forward to welcoming you. Light refreshments will be available for purchase and any Donations will be gratefully received.
