On September 25, 2014, at approximately 9:30 p.m. an Officer with the Llano Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet pickup, on State Highway 29 West. The vehicle fled and after a short pursuit crashed into a residential garage at the intersection of West Ellis Street and Ames Avenue. The driver, who was later identified as Edward Levi Adamson, W/M, DOB: 01/23/1967 fled on foot. The passenger of the vehicle, who is identified as Brittany Trevino, was arrested at the scene for public intoxication. A record check showed that Adamson is wanted for a parole violation and also is a suspect in several burglaries that spread over several counties including Kimble, Kerr, Gillespie, and Burnet County. The vehicle was impounded and during an inventory of the vehicle several stolen items were recovered. On September 26, 2014, at approximately 8:35 a.m. Officers with the Llano Police Department along with Llano County EMS were dispatched to the 700 block of Avon Street in reference to an elderly female being assaulted by an intruder. Upon arrival Officers discovered that her elderly husband had been tied up, but not injured. The elderly female was transported to UMC Breckenridge in Austin, TX. and was listed in fair condition. During the investigation it was discovered that a male subject matching Adamson’s description was the intruder and is considered the main suspect. The suspect stole the couple’s grey 2014 Jeep, Compass, Bearing TX/LP#CCZ2353. The Investigation is ongoing at this time with the assistance of the Llano County Sheriff’s Department, Llano County Constable PCT. 4, and the Texas Rangers.
