On Sunday 19 May, I played one of my programs called "The Organist Entertains" as a part of the organ dedication at Landenberg United Methodist Church, Pennsylvania. At 4.30 PM, I chatted up the audience and remarked that the Philadelphia Phillies had not been playing well at their baseball games. I asked the crowd if they would like to sing "Take Me Out To the Ballgame" in hopes the team would have better luck. They raised the roof as I played. At the time the team was behind 2 to 1. After we sang, the Phillies got two home runs in the bottom of the 9th inning and won the game!!! Perhaps the Phillies need to hire me to play the organ at their ball games!!??? Nice to work MAGIC!!!
