On Sunday, August 11, 2013, Michael Miller, presented to Sister Ann Marie Friederichs, Provincial Superior, a copy of the hardcover book, “Ewiger Saatz - Everlasting Yeast”: The Food Culture of the Germans from Russia in Emmons County, Logan County, and McIntosh County, North Dakota”, published by the Tri-County Tourism Alliance, for the convent library. Miller was in Hankinson to attend the 100th Centennial of the Francisciscan Sisters of Dillingen, Germany at St. Francis Convent.
