On Sunday, January 4, 2015, the DPLSA was sadly informed of the passing of Mr. John Mitchell, Father of Retired Sergeant Alphonso Mitchell. The DPLSA has Alphonso and his entire family in our hearts, thoughts and prayers and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers as well during the difficult days ahead, thank you! The arrangements are as follows: Visitation will be at the O.H. Pye III Funeral Home, 17600 Plymouth, Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held at The Christian Inn Missionary Baptist Church, 10225 W. McNichols on Thursday, January 8, 2015. Family hour is at 10:00 AM, the service will be held at 11:00 AM.
