On Sunday, Terry Stoltenow read the acceptance letter from Pastor Warren Hoffman - if you missed it, here it is! To the Church Family of First Baptist Church of Sioux Falls, It is with a strong sense of God’s leading and a high level of expectancy of what the Lord will do with “us” together, that Laura and I joyfully accept your call to become the pastor of First Baptist Church. Over the past months, as we have worked through step after step, the direction of God has been unmistakable. Our visit with you in July only confirmed what the Holy Spirit was accomplishing in our hearts. We will begin our ministry officially with you on September 8, and in the meantime, we will face the challenges of homesale and relocation of our homegoods. We deeply would appreciate your prayers in this regard: that we are led to the nest that God is preparing for us there. We are not anxious, only expectant of the tremendously faithful provision of God. Also remember in your prayers the congregation that we leave with tears.
