On Thanksgiving day Syndi & I are considering hiking up to the Welcome Stranger Gold Mine claim (better known in modern times as Careys Castle). This hike is about 3.8 miles up the mountain from Hayfield Rd. off of IS10 near Chiracho Summit . Anybody out there in FB land interested in this (strenuous) hike?
