On Thursday night about 4:00, Jack was headed home from South Dakota with a load of large round bales of grass hay for our critters. Headed south between Midwest and I-25, he had been watching the back bale slip closer and closer to the side of the trailer, so he stopped about four miles north of the T Pot Dome Ranch pulled over, took off the strap and let the bale gentle roll down into the ditch. Hurried home, loaded our tractor onto a different trailer and headed back to retrieve bale, all this took about 2 hours. He and a friend from Minnesota were quite amazed, disappointed and bewildered when much to there surprise this 1700 lb. bale was gone. What happened to honesty? Guess I should have hurried out with the car and stood guard with my dads 300, the code of the west. To who ever took this bale, hope you drop it on your leg.
