On Tuesday 10th June 2014 there will be a procession led by lady drummers Sheeboom. They will meet at the Queen Street entrance to the Gallow Green Paisley. Meeting at the green no later than 7:35pm. It will proceed through into Maxwellton Street and head to Maxwellton Park at the corner of Newton Street. (Walking time about five minutes.). Once there, the Rev Mhairi Breingan will conduct a Christian Blessing for the seven sentenced to death in 1697 under the witchcraft laws. Provost Anne Hall and Councillor Tommy Williams will attend. The all girls group Real Gone Kids will add their voices to the event. After the blessing there will be a reception in the Alamo Bar, 9 Caledonia Street, Paisley.
