On Tuesday I went under anesthesia and my pain management doctor did a series of three facet injections in my lower back. This is a diagnostic injection, designed to tell the doctor if a nerve block or nerve burn will help with the pain. Guess what folks? So far so good. The pain is not completely gone, but it walked around today without much of a limp. This is the best I have felt in months. Keeping my fingers crossed because the doctor said it might only work for a few days.
