On Tuesday Star Z and I were invited to preform at the Ranch a home for boys. Star and I had been there before several years ago. Most of the boys are ages 10 to 18. We arrived to find the building decorated with Orange ribbons a sign in big letters Welcome Bill Star and Z across the front. One young man had seen Star preform several years ago. He was instrumental in getting Us back to the Ranch. He hugged Star Gave her a Kiss on the head and just loved on her. Each one of the boys hugged or petted Star as she walked thru the 36-40 boys. The manners showed by these boys was extra ordinary; Saying yes sir and no sir Raising their hands to ask questions and even correcting other when they got loud. Very courteous and bright young men. I put Star back into her crate ; Z came out of crate like a rocket. Ready for action I used the term with the boys Are you ready for some Live Action? They replied with a huge shout of YES I had Z jump on my back and stand there for a moment as I heard wows Then I had Z do three back flips catching the disc in the upside down position, Like you would expect these boys were hooting and hollering. I had Z vault from my back I was a little excited so my toss was a little higher than normal Z grabbed the disc at about 8 feet high and landed about 14 feet from me. I got excited to see Z so pumped. We finished out routine with a huge big air vault off my knee Z hit about 12 feet in the air All I heard was screaming and yelling We had a question and answer session that just awesome. So many great questions. We all had cookies and drinks inside where I was asked to have pictures taken with some of boys. I started to load up when several of the boys appeared with Disc. They asked me to sign these disc for them. I sat on the tailgate of my Orange car signed each disc with Star and Z name on them. I was so honored to be a part of these boys life for a few moments. My heart was touched to see how wonderful these young men were with my dogs. Hugs and kisses on both Z and Star. To be a part of this touched my heart. I hope that this small performance will be remembered by them as these boys go thru life As for me I had only a small scratch on my arm from Z flying off of me but I had a huge smile and a Happy Heart.
