On Tuesday night, RCSAR practiced responding to a multi-victim call. The fake call paged the team out to respond to both a rescue and search. The scenario was for a rescue of a 42-year old man who was pinned in a ditch under his 4-wheeler, and a search for his missing 10-year old daughter who had gone for help but had not been seen after leaving the crash. The fake page went out at 18:10 and in a little over 2 hours the team had responded to the scene, removed the man from under the 4-wheeler, hand carried the man out in a basket, transported him back to where EMS would have been waiting, and tracked and found his missing daughter (who did not respond to verbal calls), counting drive/transport time. Good work, team!
