On Veterans Day, I want to thank: my husband, John G. Roberts, my father, Allen Thomas, my daughter, Jennifer Alexandra Comer, my brother, Wendell Thomas, my father-in-law, Spence Roberts, and many more in my family tree for their service to our country. Freedom and life as we know it is ours because of those who make the choice to serve & protect this country, sleeping in a cot in the desert for a year here and a year there, leaving their home & family to be shot at and drive past IEDs, and putting their lives at risk to protect us here at home, enjoying the things we all love & sometimes take for granted. This Veterans Day, dont forget that, though this great country has become so politically correct, and life for many has become so comfortable - there are men & women out there risking it all to keep our country safe so you can enjoy your life without worrying about the violence of these other lands becoming an every day reality here on American soil. Remember and respect our veterans, today and throughout the year - they deserve it.
