On Wednesday 13 November 2013 the NUS Womens campaign in collaboration with FOSIS proudly present I Will…Lead the Way, leadership training for Muslim Women. Muslim Women are underrepresented nationally and face a number of barriers related to race, religion and gender which are obstacles to attaining positions of power or leadership.... This event is designed to give delegates the skills and confidence to stand for election in their union or society, or lead change in their wider communities. The day will comprise of a combination of knowledge, skills and discussion sessions, with a host of inspirational speakers and experts on hand to enhance the day further.
