On Wednesday January 17, 2001 i set foot on the campus of Kumasi High School as an SS 1 student and completed on August 14, 2003. It was a great two and half years with lots of experiences and i got to know so many people who are now my brothers for life. As my Alma Mater clucks 50 years this month. I have chronicled of some of my experiences. ***The rest will be done next week) * At SS 1, I was a Ninja alongside my fellow SS 1 room mates Judge Nana Kwame Amankwah III (Arrested), and Owusu Boahen Collins (Obanzy)hardly did we sleep in the room. Our room was very hot with seniors such as Felix Akurang Afrifah (Tampico), Adusei (B-History), Mensah Bonsu (Abode3), Jordan, Bissiw and my school father Alex Agyei. They were always on us with belt. My other form 1 room mates were Obuoba Quadjo Omari (Virus), Frimpong, Akwasi Gyamfi (Nyame y3 )d) and Isaac Owusu (Mosh Pinnochio) *One day i Pae Ninja with Christopher Nuamah (Sisqo of house 1) we were sleeping in the visual art class room when senior Agama came searching for his son Pius Nkrumah who had also Pae Ninja. Agama told me to go and look for Pius and come with him or i should come and give him the feed back, i did not find Pius not knowing Agama who was in room 11 has told the seniors in my room that he has found me. As soon as i entered room 11 Agama grabbed me and sent me to room 10. Abode3 made my life miserable *One weekend also Akwasi Gyamfi did not sweep the room and he left. We the other form one students also left when we came back the seniors in our room used dog chain to beat us and after that they gave us belt to beat Akwasi Gyamfi who was supposed to sweep **My favourite seniors were Eddie Ameh Snr, Hassan (House 1) as well as I-Stoney (House 1) and the senior i feared most was Buthlezi (House 2 room 2) **Pastis and Old Soldier (House 2 room 4 also liked me very much) **One day i went to Louis to visit a cousin, senior Stain and NBA also came there when they saw me with the lady they told me to kneel down infront of this Louis girls, i said no i wont. Not knowing they brought car so they got to campus before me, as soon as i entered they asked where was my exeat. herrrrrh!!!! that day they made ma life miserable......serious beatings. SS2 At SS 2 I stopped going to prep on tuesdays and wednesdays as well as sunday morning church service because i always run to KNUST to watch champions league and EPL. Infact till i completed Kumasi High school i stopped going to Prep on Tuesdays and wednesdays. One tuesday Fire the assistant house master nearly caught me scaling the wall. House 2 common room (west side)was the place to be, Paa Kwadwo Hagan Cashious, Pilato, Amaru, Obanzy, Pius, Mades, Declan Amankwah Alegation, Arrested, Nhyira Ba Kwadwo Sam, Amofa Shyne Shalman, Kwaku Agyekum Virus and others. we could argue till day break, once we were arguing at the west side and those sleeping in front wanted to switch off the light. We said no so it became Dumsor. One person sneaked out and went and told the Assistant house master, when he came he said All those who wants to sleep in darkness should take their mattresses and go and sleep in bush cos there is no light there The fight i will never forget **Euguene Offei Boateng (Amaru Shakur) vs Yaw Marfo Very bloody fight it happened just near my bed. That is the best fight i have ever watched. An incident at Interco when we were in SS 2 ***The Israel and Alqaeeda guys from Moshie Zongo wanted to remove the silver adidas foot Paa Kwadwo Hagan Cashious clay was wearing and he had to run back to school At Common room (a big room where only stubborn and lazy ss 2 students sleep), a real ghetto, if u are from outside and u incidentally come and fight some one there, we will all beat u. Special mentioning **The most stubborn boy i have ever slept in a room with Eugene Offei Boateng (Amaru Shakur) **The most funniest guys i have ever slept in room with Pius Nkrumah and Michael Wireko (Amando Swazy) One of the cool guys i slept in room with(ss1 and ss2 ) and was also my friend Joshua Amankwaah AKA Arrested .......To be continued
