On Wednesday, January 22, Vancouver City Council will consider the Policy Statement for the redevelopment of the George Pearson Centre lands. Unfortunately, this statement still contains plans for institutional placement for at least 37 people with disabilities at Pearson. Everyone can - and has the right to - live in the community.
