On Wednesday, September 10th, at noon, USAID’s Readers are Leaders Project will celebrate World Literacy Day with the grand re-opening of the Children’s Creative Center, in the Youth Cultural Center – Skopje. USAID Mission Director James Stein, as well as directors of the USAID Readers are Leaders Project and the Youth Cultural Center – Skopje will make remarks. The Children’s Creative Center is the first specialized resource and activity center in the country, enabling students to engage in reading and math activities, with or without the help of their parents and teachers. It is an open source space, where teachers will be encouraged to contribute with positive examples from their teaching practice.
