On a POSITIVE note....should be done with Clear Cruisin tomorrow, been a beat Ive been trying to make sound as great as possible. When you listen to it, please realize Im using a INTRO version of Ableton Live 9 that only gives you 16 instrument tracks & a LIMITED amount of effects. To illustrate how Im making songs with limited output, Ive read in certain DAW training vids that youd ideally want 5 instrument tracks dedicated to 1 instrument for a DYNAMIC sound. 3 instruments x 5 tracks each = 15 tracks. All the songs Ive done so far with AL 9 Intro has 16 different instruments for all the tracks involved..... So yeah, if Im trying to emulate a 4 piece band, the only dynamic output Im getting is from the drums, guitar & bass...Id have to lower the volume somewhat on those tracks to emphasize the 1 instrument track I have left for vocals. Clear Cruisin is actually the 1st song where Im doubling up instruments & panning out tracks to create a fuller sound. I like it so far, all thats left now is to coordinate it all & HOPE TO GOD it sounds better than other songs I uploaded before.... Wish me luck, aiming to upload this BEFORE the Super Bowl :-)
