On a daily or weekly basis we encounter all the problems in life some big Or just out of proportion. Late this afternoon as the traffic builds and the m50 becomes a car park I got a call about a link up with blood bike north east about an urgent transfer to one of dublins maternity hospitals. Oh god I thought not at this hour and no time to get a bike , so motor used. Comfortable but useless in traffic. I reached the drop off having Made good time , as I entered the hdu unit I am met by a beautiful smile from a nurse with the comment we were just talking about you great to see you. The unit is full the nurses are busy , cables wires Tubes and machines all keeping safe the tiny babies born before their time. Cargo transferred and signed off and a moment to pause and look in wonder . A few minutes reflection before I leave puts a lot into perspective . In life people create drama without any concept of reality. This is reality.
