On a more serious note, the shelter is in need of Women’s Pants (small sizes) Trash Bags New Tennis Shoes: Women sizes 6, 6.5 and 7 New Tennis Shoes: Children sizes 2-12 New Women’s Cotton Underwear (sizes 5 and under) New Children’s Cotton Underwear Baby Toiletries (infant to toddler) Toiletries Disposable Diapers Baby Wipes Nido Baby Formula/Powered Milk Hygiene Products (sanitary napkins, no tampons) Small Towels Children’s Blankets Small Backpacks Easy Open Snacks Easy Open Juices Rebozos (baby sling/wraps) Reading Glasses Watches From what I saw today we need BELTS (preferably black belts that can be used for men and women), HAIRBRUSHES, hair accessories for the little girls (it really makes them feel back to normal), hair de-tangling spray for kids, and FOOD FOR VOLUNTEERS. Cheap pizza, burgers, and homecooked meals. Hot dogs, granola bars, gatorade, water whatever. Some of us are there all day and we get hungry and tired. Its nice to take a break even for 5 min and eat something. Today we had no food and I was sad. lol. Also, gloves (non-latex), pens, and name tags are needed as well. If you can donate any of this, let me know or just go by the church on Dallas and 15th to drop off the food and food bank of Pharr to drop off everything else. Thanks guys.
