On a number of levels, today has been a difficult one, not least of which was having to make the decision to allow Dads faithful companion Lassie to be freed from her suffering. Its incredible how much of an impact losing the last remaining link to a man we adored has had on the whole family a genuine sense of loss all over again. So for tonight I have decided to be a mere mortal, take a deep breath, have a minor meltdown...get a good nights(with luck) kip, refrain from committing murder, reflect, refocus and carry on moving onward & upward tomorrow....all the time smiling & whistling BECAUSE Ill be damned if Im gonna let the b$%^&$*ds grind me down to coin one of Dads favourite pieces of advice......So There!!!
