On a personnal note ladies! A saying which I love right now is be nice to each other as you dont know what silent battles people are dealing with....... this is so true for everone on this group and generally... having lived with reflux for ten years.... I was last august diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer, only my close family and friends know/knew and finished 6mths chemo in feb and literally just had a mastectomy and lymph nodes out and going back for my other side doung in sept. Generally people dont know, till I take my beany off and show my bald head, or if people ask I will say but otherwise ive tried to get on with life as if nothing was wrong for the sake of my kids and sanity. Although ive had major wobbles beleive me! Ive continued to post and do admin, work best I can in between and monitor an amazu g forum and continue as best I can with a charity very dear to me as well as deal with a severe refluxer who is tube fed. Until recently not many knew of my cancer battle... your words and pms have been wonderful this last week. So my purpose of this post...... be nice love and support each other and remember when we post we dont know about the silent battles that they are going through which may mean that we are more sensitive etc... this last 6 mths has taught me life is short, how many people have huge battles and how many people will loose their battle, and we should hold on to every bit of life. We should also surround ourselves with friends who love and support us and give you the strength to get through a day.... please dont feel sorry for me I dont but take the purpose of this post to help you through your own battle.. reflux or otherwise.. and use it to be more understanding of others.... im no inspiration just aomeone whos had a kick up the arsw and a seco d chance to grab life by the balls. I love lwr and I intend to do all I can to help others.. same as every person on here with their own silent battle.. much love to you all x
